The Laws Observatory at the University of Missouri has a long history being used as an educational and outreach tool, giving the public a welcoming environment to approach science and the natural world. The Central Missouri Astronomers Association has partnered with the Astronomy Department to open the observatory every Wednesday evening throughout the year, weather permitting.
