Columbia College star pitcher Valerie Teter throws a strike against the William Woods University Owls on May 3rd during the first semifinal game of the American Midwest Conference Tournament at Cougar Softball Field. Teter nearly pitched a shutout and the first game remained scoreless until the Owls brought one home in the top of the ninth.
